So I discovered this recipe on Pinterest and I am officially obsessed. These amazing protein balls took me 10 minutes to make and taste amazing. They are healthy, have no bake time, and like I said, taste absolutely wonderful! They are perfect for a little sweet craving or if you are on the go and low on blood sugar.
The recipe contains 5 pretty simple ingredients:
Peanut Butter
Rolled Oats
Chocolate Chips
Honey
Flaxseed or Protein Powder
The recipe I found on Pinterest only made 12 balls so the measurements I am giving you make a small amount so double or triple the recipe if you are making them for a lot of people.
You'll need:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup of rolled oats
1/2 cup of chocolate chips
1/3 cup of raw honey
1/4 cup of flaxseed or protein powder
Mix all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl, (I mixed it by hand with a fork and it took me less than 5 minutes).
Use a cookie scooper and place the balls on a cooking sheet. Once the desired amount is on the sheet, cover it with wax paper and place in the freezer for an hour or until hard.
Once hard, keep in the fridge or freezer to maintain shape and structure.
It's so easy folks!! I'm officially obsessed!
Happy Tuesday!

Thanks for sharing this recipe, Abs! I just made them using almond butter and chia seeds instead of peanut butter and flax! Yummy!!! Doubled the recipe for our family. xoxo
