Flourless Chocolate Chip Banana Bread


I know I've mentioned before I'm mostly gluten free and so when I can find easy recipes that don't make my stomach hurt I am all for trying! This yummy recipe is actually through a food blog called Running with Spoons. I dont take any credit for creating it, I just made it and knew I had to share!  It's super easy and really tastes great! Because it doesn't have flour it doesn't rise as much as normal banana bread but it doesn't make you feel bloated or gross after eating a little too much. ;)


What you'll need:
3/4 cups of quick or old fashioned oats
2 medium ripe bananas
1/4 cup of almond butter
2 large eggs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips

1. Preheat your oven to 350
2. Mix 3/4 cup of oats on high until it is broken down into a fine powder (around 2 minutes) then add the rest of the ingredients except the chocolate chips. Turn the blender to low and slowly add those in.
3. Spread in pan and add a few chocolate chips (if desired to the top)
4. Cook 45-50 minutes and you're done!
