Bridal Portraits

Happy Wedding Wednesday, friends! Wow! It's been over a month since I've been on the blog. I've missed it and I'm excited to be back. I know I say that every time but I am excited to get back into the swing of things and start creating wonderful content for you all! For those that have been following me on Instagram have seen that my life has been nothing short of boring since mid December. I graduated, got married and my husband left on a deployment! I've had a range of emotions and just been processing everything that has happened. To say it's been a whirlwind would be an understatement.

I decided today I would share the photos from my bridal session! These were taken the weekend of November 10th.. it was around 40-50 degrees outside and I was freezing. At the time I had been praying for 60-70's the day of the wedding. Looking back that's absolutely comical considering on December 31st it was 15 degrees out and the coldest day of the year. I didn't even know what cold was. 😉

These were taken at Robert E. Lee Park in Dallas, the same place Zach proposed! Let me tell you, if you're a current Bride to-be, I cannot recommend having your bridals done enough. It was so fun to get dressed up and feel exactly how I would the day of the wedding. I loved putting my dress on and doing a trial run on my hair. It gave me such peace of mind knowing that this is how I would look the day of. Not to mention, I love that I have these photos to share with Zach and did not have to stress about taking them the day of the wedding. I'm especially grateful now because the weather was being so difficult.

One bummer part from the Bridals was my false lashes... somehow the glue got completely out of control and my eyes had an allergic reaction to them. Basically the glue was stuck to my lashes after I took them off and I couldn't remove it for around a month. It was awful and my eyes were slightly swollen for quite awhile. The day of the wedding I nixed the falsies and decided to just coat mascara which worked beautifully! If you love false lashes, I've linked the ones I used, if you want to go for just mascara I listed an incredible combo that will give you super full (false-looking) lashes.

I've linked below as much of my wedding makeup as I possibly can!  On the day of the bridals I wore a foundation whereas the day of the actual wedding I had airbrush foundation but did everything else myself.

I've also linked my veil (which I've gotten tons of comments about) and shoes. I got them both on Amazon.

I hope you enjoyed looking through these photos! It's so good to be back!

Thanks for reading!!
